For musicians of all genres, the music of the Beatles is a lodestone for enduring, artistic, memorable songs with great lyrics and wonderful, timeless melodies whose appeal spans generations.

In looking at the Beatles immense catalog with a eye to arranging this music for lap steel guitar, I first went with that were favorites of mine and then looked to see which ones worked best for steel guitar. This folio could easily contain many other groups of ten equally great tunes so this list represents my personal ‘curated’ list. The three tunes in Open D can certainly be played with accompaniment but were conceived as Weissenborn/Dobro/Oahu squareneck solo guitar arrangements.
