B11th tuning is one of the most beautiful tunings used in non-pedal steel guitar playing. Its lush, closely-voiced intervals offer a palette of sounds and moods that few other tunings can match. B11th offers a major 6th chord in the key of A on top, and in the middle and lower register, beautiful voicings of B dominant 7th, 9th and 11th chords.
The arrangements in this book are not overly complex. They are intended to suggest possible approachs to a given tune that showcase the capabilities and unique textures of the B11th tuning. You can click on a sample page at the left. All arrangements are easily playable on 6 or 8-string lap steels.
