12 Traditional Tunes ….

In Celtic, Bluegrass, and Old Time music, an electric steel guitar is something of a rare bird. While lap steel has a long history in Hawaiian, Blues and Cajun musical styles, the traditional tunes in this book are usually the purview of the guitar, mandolin and banjo. However, these tunes can also sound great on lap steel. Fiddle tunes are also great for honing your blocking and picking skills in a very musical manner. All the tunes are in C6th tuning except one which uses C6/A7 tuning where you simple raise string 6 from C to C#.
