In the Bleak Midwinter is a poem by the English poet Christina Rossetti. In 1906, Gustav Holst composed a setting of Rossetti’s words which is sung throughout the world. My arrangement for lap guitar is in D Suspended tuning, commonly called “Dad Gad” tuning. From Open D tuning, simply raise string #3 one half step from  F# to G.
