Early Autumn is a song composed in 1949 by Ralph Burns and Woody Herman with lyrics by Johnny Mercer. The song has been covered by many pop and jazz greats including Jo Stafford, whose 1952 version is particularly outstanding.

My arrangement is in Fmaj7 tuning, a simple variation of the standard C6th tuning where we simply lower the 4th string G down one whole step to F. T
