t’s Gonna Work Out Fine is a song written by Rose Marie McCoy and Joe Seneca. It was originally released by Ike & Tina Turner in 1961 as a single from their 1962 album Dynamite! My arrangement for lap steel is based on an arrangement by Jerry Douglas that appeared on his LP Everything is Gonna Work Out Fine. Jerry’s version ws in Open G while my version is in Open E tuning. To play it in Open D, simply use the same positions and lower the back-up chords by one whole step.
