La Fiesta is a fusion jazz classic and jazz standard composed by Chick Corea that first  appeared on the 1972 LP Return To Forever by the band of the same name. La Fiesta is based on harmonies and melodies associated with Spanish Flamenco  music.

My arrangement for acoustic steel guitar should be considered an interpretation as I have altered some of the harmonies and melodies in Corea’s original composition to better fit the steel guitar in Open D tuning as well as my own sensabilities. La Fiesta makes a fabulous tune on Dobro or Weissenborn. Enjoy!
