“More and More Amor “was written by Solomon Lachoff (professionally known as Sol Lake, a journeyman songwriter and composer with 36 songs in his portfolio. All but ten were recorded in the mid 1960s by Herb Alpert’s Tijuana Brass. “More and More Amor” is a pretty, melodic Bossa Nova that’s easy to play and lays out well on the C6th lap steel tuning. Both Wes Montgomery and Earl Klugh played beautiful versions of this tune on standard guitar.
