Rebel-’Rouser” is a classic rock and roll instrumental song written by Duane Eddy and Lee Hazlewood and originally released on Jamie Records in 1958. The tune was loosely inspired by “Who’s Gonna Shoe Your Pretty Little Feet”, an old folk song Eddy knew from a Tennessee Ernie Ford record. My arrangement includes the low notes that are Eddy’s trademark, altenating with high register chords and single notes that are one of the strengths of lap steel guitar.
